A special 'Green Drinks' as part of the Bruns Riverkeepers Launch program!
Join Riverkeepers in conversation with urban ecologist Josh Lewis from New Orleans
Friday 25th October 2024 4-7pm
@ The Garage Gallery, Community Arts Hub, 6 Burringar St Mullumbimby
Kristin DenExter (Richmond Riverkeepers co-founder) and Techa Beaumont (Bruns Riverkeepers co-founder) invite the broader community into a conversation with special guest Josh Lewis (Tulane ByWater Institute- New Orleans) to explore ways to live and work with (and for) the water that flows through our landscapes.

We will be exploring the successes and challenges of over a decade of collaborative initiatives aimed at working in harmony with the ecology of water in New Orleans post Hurricane Katrina, and how this can inform local choices and solutions to flood adaptation/resilience that work with rather than against nature in the Northern Rivers

Hosted by Mullum SEED, Living Labs, Bruns & Richmond Riverkeepers
Snacks provided, drinks available for purchase

Our Green Drinks events are designed to bring together individuals from all walks of life who are committed to making a positive impact on the environment. Whether you are an environmental professional or simply someone who cares about the health of our planet, you are welcome to attend.
